CN release · English player guide

Start the Chinese version without treating it as the global build

This is a decision guide for English-speaking players, not a translated copy of the Chinese article. It starts with the questions a player outside China needs answered first.

Account access, client distribution and payment options can depend on region and platform. SorWiki does not provide account workarounds; use official channels and current platform rules.

First session

A low-risk order for your first few hours

01 · Confirm access

Check the server and client

Make sure the guide you are reading refers to the Chinese release. Do not use a CN event date as a global launch date.

02 · Collect

Claim mail and verified codes

Collect confirmed rewards before planning pulls. Read deadlines in China Standard Time (UTC+8), with the month written out.

03 · Progress

Follow the main unlock path

Prioritise systems that unlock travel, recruitment and reliable returns from a voyage. Avoid long detours before the basic loop is clear.

04 · Build

Invest in one working team

Cover damage and survival first. A smaller functional roster is more useful than many partly upgraded crewmates.

05 · Test

Use short voyages to learn

When the difficulty of a new area is unclear, take a shorter route and return safely before committing more resources.

06 · Verify

Check current in-game notices

Use SorWiki as a decision aid. The live client and official notices remain the final source for rules, rewards and availability.

Keep the CN label

Common questions

Before using CN advice

Is the Chinese release the same as the global version?

No. The Chinese release provides useful early information, but schedules, names, rewards, balance and platform access may change for the global version.

Do I need to translate every screen?

No. Learn a small set of recurring labels first, then use translation only for longer descriptions and current notices. Keep the Chinese term visible when checking a guide against the client.

What should I spend first?

Spend only when it solves a current progression problem. Early on, concentrating resources on one functional team is safer than spreading upgrades across every crewmate or profession.
